What we expect from you

The Business Process Coordinator will play a supportive role in streamlining our internal processes and aiding the synchronisation across various departments. This entry level role is designed for individuals keen to develop their technical and operational skills within a dynamic business environment. You will assist with the buying critical path, support software platform evaluations, and contribute to the smooth operation of our interdepartmental projects.

 

The ideal candidate will not only assist with the interconnected processes but also ensure compliance with technical specifications and maintain updated and accurate documentation supporting our Buying operations.

 

This position is suited for individuals who excel in creating harmony among diverse operational functions, ensuring all elements of the business work together efficiently.

You will be able to blend basic project management skills with system administration capabilities to enhance our buying processes and achieve our company goals.

 

Core Responsibilities:

As directed by the Buyer, collaborate with the Buying, Technical Merchandising, Marketing, and Supply Chain departments to help streamline process such as reporting for ethical audits, being the point of contact for Capita and testing new development on our ERP system.

Assist in the identification of any bottlenecks or delays in the systems process, collaborating proactively with relevant teams to find solutions and maintain schedules.

Help maintain documentation and records, ensuring they are up-to-date and meet technical and compliance standards.

Collaborate with team members across departments to help resolve issues between, offering feedback to the Buyer on solutions and how to move forward.

Oversee the implementation of software updates and enhancements, working closely with the IT and other relevant departments to ensure smooth integration and adoption.

Ensure junior team members receive adequate training to fulfil their roles, consult with L&D to implement training structures.

Assist with the monitoring of software and systems performance, under supervision of the Buyer, propose and implement improvements to support operational excellence and business growth.

Strong time management skills, attention to detail, and accuracy of work.  

Ability to assess problems and recommend solutions.  

Ability to be an efficient, multi-tasking and reliable team member who can be responsible for their own priorities and workload. 

 

Key skills and experience you require:

 

Proven numerate and analytical skills plus experience working with ERP systems.

Aptitude to learn whilst in the role.  

Proficient in Microsoft Office Suit specifically Excel

Experience working within an office environment ideally with a technical & operational role.

Build positive relationships within your own team and between other functions and be able to influence others. 

Acting in accordance with our B-Corp principles and engaging in our ethos and culture.  

Having a high level of autonomous working and ability to self-prioritise.  

Ability to work to deadlines and drive projects through to completion.
