Join us at JoJo Maman Bebe as a Sustainability Coordinator, where you will be apart of our exciting journey to continue driving our sustainability strategy forward. You will be at the heart of our sustainability efforts, collaborating closely with our Head of Quality, Technical & Compliance, and key stakeholders. This dynamic position covers, supply chain, strategy, packaging, legislation, carbon & water foot printing and internal engagement. 

 

 

Supporting Business Sustainability Operations

  • Build on the sustainability strategy to deliver measured progress against the goals.
  • Understand and engage teams on upcoming legislation, best-practice and innovation across the industry.
  • Coordinate recommendations for an appropriate approach for JoJo to align with updated B-Corp standards and preparing clear updates for the Senior Teams.
  • Work closely with internal teams to understand how JoJo can implement circular operational solutions to align with best-practice and reduce emissions.
  • Contributing ideas and feedback to continually improve our internal methodology and data management
  • Working with Technical and Ethical teams on own brand factory sustainability status, establishing KPI’s and reporting to Head of Compliance on status.

 

Supply chain data management

  • Project ownership of our 3rd party supplier environmental data management, this includes but is not limited to;
  • Delivering training to JoJo teams and suppliers.
  • Analyse data generated, format this to calculate Scope 3 emissions from suppliers.
  • Work internally and with external partners to calculate Scope 3 emissions from across the business.
  • Drive continuous improvements of the system and supplier data ensuring it continues to be fit for purpose

 

Product Sustainability  

  • Work with buyers, merchandisers, and technical teams to create clear processes for improving sustainable materials across products
  • Understand and build a path to improve sustainable materials across JoJo’s own-brand products.
  • Understand and engage our teams on product-specific sustainability legislation
  • Manage Green Claims training for all key stakeholders across the business
  • Support the buying teams with process management and reporting on key areas such as Better Cotton, FSC, GRS etc
  • Support the formal development of a reporting cycle for more sustainable materials, how this data is collected, analysed and reported on to drive improvements.
  • Build knowledge on sustainability and environmental issues, sharing changes in UK governmental reporting requirements and global environmental compliance as appropriate.
  • Represent JoJo externally as required.
