JoJo Team is looking for a Merchandising Administrative Assistant to support our dynamic and skilled team of merchandisers to play a key role in providing the essential data required within our team.

 

Our merchandising team ensures that we have the right products, at the right time, in the right place and in the right quantities. They work closely with our Buying team to plan and build the ranges taking control of stock levels to maximise profit. Without merchandisers, there would be no stock to sell!

What we expect from you:

 

With the support and in-house training, you will be responsible for:

 

Planning

  • Work with the merchandising team to ensure effective planning of stock flow, commitment, intake and distribution, including management of weekly allocations.
  • Support the merchandising team to plan for new store openings & review existing store layouts, managing changes as they arise.
  • Support the merchandising team to plan and manage stock distributions to stores using the seasonal allocation plan.

Analysis

  • Analyse historic sales patterns and trends.
  • Produce all trading packs and ad hoc analysis as required.
  • Provide regular analysis on stock levels, sales performance and purchasing.
  • Ad Hoc analysis as required e.g., promotional activities across both web and store channels.

 

Trading / Operations

  • Responding to store queries in a timely manner.
  • Amending mins and maxes for stores.
  • Importing allocations.
  • Managing price lists for current season & markdowns across all selling channels
  • Amending hierarchies and ensuring merchandising style information is up to date on the system, including seasonality.
  • Collating weekly correspondence to stores.
  • Providing information to other teams in the business, for example visual merchandising and marketing.
  • Attend store visits, providing useful information and recommendations, and feedback with actions required.

  • Good experience with Excel.
  • Proven numerate and analytical skills plus excellent verbal and written English.

  • An ability to multitask and effectively prioritise workload.
  • Pro-active and can-do attitude.
